Jake Thompson joined Sewall in 2022 as a GIS technician. Originally from Carson City, Nevada, he received his bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. After graduation, he lived and worked in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he collected information on telephone poles in the field.
When not at work, Jake enjoys reading about history, camping, and hiking, as well as playing all manner of games with his friends. His main passion is travel, from road trips in the US to backpacking through foreign countries. His goal is to see the beauty of the world.
