This project included 48 Vesta V-112 3.0 MW wind turbines with an output of 144 MW.
Sewall was responsible for civil road and site design for the wind farm; including 28 miles of access roads and crane paths, stormwater management design, and erosion & sedimentation control plans. Sewall assisted the project development team with project narratives and plan development in support of a Maine Department of Environmental Protection Agency permit, which included extensive stormwater management, phosphorus export calculations and natural resources permitting. Sewall provided construction administration and inspection services during construction. Our main focus during the inspections was the construction and function of the stormwater BMPs and erosion control.
